Research and campaigns

Each year we commission research to gain a better understanding of the issues affecting blind and partially sighted people’s lives. This is firmly linked to the priorities set out in the Vision Foundation’s strategy. We gather intelligence so that we can better support and inform the wider sight loss sector as well as advocate and lobby on behalf of blind and partially sighted people on the issues that matter most to them.

The Unseen

In October 2022 we published the first ever research into the shocking scale and prevalence of domestic abuse among blind and partially sighted people.
