A vision for the future
In this edition of Insight, we are thrilled to share with you details of our ground-breaking merger with Fight for Sight and introduce you to our new CEO, Keith Valentine, who will lead the new organisation forward.
What’s more, we hear from blind Braille artist, Clarke Reynolds, following his first solo exhibition in London and we it means for the future of accessible art. And it’s fantastic to feature two of our funded partners, The Amber Trust and Croydon Vision, who are transforming lives within their sight loss communities.
Our newsletter is a really wonderful opportunity to share the impact of Vision Foundation’s work and in this issue, we include an update on our work addressing the devastating issues which are affecting blind and partially sighted victims and survivors of domestic abuse, which was featured in our Christmas Appeal 2022.
Your support is making a significant difference and without it, Vision Foundation’s impact and reach would substantially reduce. Thank you so much.

An introduction from Olivia Curno
We are particularly excited about this issue, as there’s been so much going on at Vision Foundation that we are delighted to share with you, most notably our upcoming merger with sight loss
medical research charity, Fight for Sight.
Meet our new CEO, Keith Valentine
After joining forces, Vision Foundation and
Fight for Sight will be the only UK grant-maker that changes lives through funding both scientific research and innovative services.
Please DO touch the artwork
The Power of Touch was the first London solo exhibition by the Blind
Braille Artist, Clarke Reynolds. Known for his creative braille artworks, collections from throughout Clarke’s career were
showcased during January and February this year.
The Amber Trust are bringing music to life
The Amber Trust is the only UK-wide music charity dedicated to supporting visually impaired children, enabling them to access music in a way
they never thought possible.
Breaking barriers to employment with Croydon Vision
Croydon Vision supports its vibrant
community by empowering its members and transforming lives. They
work hard to change perceptions and
encourage people to re-evaluate what is possible when you’re blind or partially sighted.
